Woodturning course - ceramics at Leymus

If you'd like to try your hand at clay pottery, this beginner's course is a great place to start. After kneading the clay, we start the electric turning discs. We will work on basic centring and you will turn your first pieces. As a starting point, we work with stoneware clay without chamotte, which is a very soft and lightweight beginner's clay.

There is room for a maximum of 5 students on the course, so there is plenty of time for each student. The course takes place with a minimum of 2 registrations. The price includes pickling, pre-gluing, a clear glaze and firing* Clay is not included.

On day 1 you will learn how to knead, centre and turn smaller pieces. On the 2nd day, you will then "turn off" and possibly putty.
