Wood Sculpture Festival in Sønderborg
International symposium at the harbour at Sønderborg Castle
Since 2012, Sønderborg Municipality, in collaboration with the foundation "Uwe Wolff´s Fond", has hosted ten artists from countries around the world.
In 2024, Wood Sculpture will be held again on the castle pier in Sønderborg, where each of the selected artists has a week to transform an oak trunk into a work of art.
The event will conclude on Friday at 2 p.m. and then the sculptures will be moved to Augustenborg Palace Park, where they can be seen until 16 September.
There will be a vernissage on Sunday 23 June at 1 p.m.
