The slaughterhouse is a vibrant cultural center, housing a skatepark, climbing gym, city gardens, open workshops, and event spaces for both small and large events in unique surroundings in the heart of Holstebro.

For 135 years, the slaughterhouse was a bustling industrial enterprise in Holstebro. A mini-community that had its own work and social life. Therefore, the place is part of the city's DNA and identity.

In recent years, the former slaughterhouse and the surrounding area are evolving into a new district in Holstebro, including new residences, educational facilities, converted slaughterhouse buildings for culture, talent development, street activities, and entrepreneurship.

Today, the slaughterhouse is a vibrant cultural center housing a skate park, climbing hall, urban gardens, open workshops, and event spaces for both small and large gatherings. This includes the annual Holstebro Streetfood Festival, attracting over 20,000 visitors, as well as art and design markets, concerts, and much more.
