Seals

All year you can encounter seals on the beaches. It is normal for seals to turn up at the beaches to rest and to wait for their mothers to return with food. It is important not to disturb a resting seal. It is not necessary ill or left behind. Feeding is advised against and we advise you to keep distance - it is however a wild animal.

If the seal needs help from a veterinarian, please call 1812 for the Animal Protection hotline.
