Samsø Bus

Samsø Bus is Samsø’s local bus company, which makes sure you get around the island by bus and telebus.

Bus
The buses are the large blue ones operating at fixed times on fixed routes covering most of Samsø. The bus runs all weekdays and during the summer holidays also on weekends. The buses have numbers 1 and 2.

The whole of Samsø is 1 zone, so the cost is the same no matter where you go.

Telebus
The telebus is an extension of the standard bus, servicing places and times where and when the blue buses do not. However, it does not serve single track roads and not if the standard bus runs within the next hour. You can use it for different daily purposes, e.g. shopping, the cinema, the ferries etc., just as you can with the (regular) bus.

The telebus must be booked no later than 1 hour before you have to use it and it operates every day between 5am and 11pm.
Please note that the telebus has a limited number of seats and is booked on a first come first served basis.
