Classic Danish restaurant

Do you want to try typical Danish food?  At Dollys traditional Danish dishes are cooked from scratch with heart and soul and with respect for traditions. The restaurant is located in lovely surroundings on the north quay of the harbour in a former shelter for dock workers. The family-run restaurant values Danish ingredients and prioritises quality over the purchase price.

Specialists in Denmark’s national dish

Dollys are “World famous in Horsens” for their signature dish, roast pork with potatoes and parsley sauce, and people come from afar to taste the best version of Denmark’s national dish. There are many other classics on the menu such as steak sandwich, minced beef steak, and Wiener Schnitzel.

The historic surroundings

The building, which is from 1911, originally serves as a shelter for the local dock workers – the place where they passed time between jobs. Their wives in particular appreciated that their husbands could enjoy themselves there in stead of the local ale-houses.The building is very well-kept, and a good setting for your next meal.

Today the old building stands out at the harbour, which has undergone a comprehensive modernization and beautification. You can enjoy the surroundings and the view to the basin from the large patio.

When you need cold refreshments

Dollys is not just a restaurant but also a bar. You are welcome to stop by and enjoy a draught beer, a glass of wine, or one of the many cocktails from the menu. Consider the tasty beer, Dollys Varmestuebryg, which is sold exclusively at Dollys.

The bar is open until midnight Monday-Saturday. The kitchen closes at 9 p.m.
