Take the family to Naturkraft, where exciting nature experiences await. Through fun and educational expeditions, you can get up close to the nature of West Jutland and learn more about how the forces of nature affect us - and what happens when we try to tame them. Naturkraft's expedition leaders are ready to guide you and make sure you have the best conditions for a great experience.
A visit to Naturkraft offers a unique opportunity to go on an exciting journey into nature and explore different themes through fun and educational tasks. Naturkraft's expedition leaders are ready to guide you along the way and answer questions about the nature of West Jutland and the discoveries you make on the expeditions.
When you go on Naturkraft expeditions, you'll be equipped to see nature in a whole new way - and to go out and explore it on your own after your visit.
Each of Naturkraft's expeditions has its own theme, and you choose whether you want to go on one or more expeditions during your visit. If you complete three expeditions, you'll get a nice diploma to take home.

The themes of the Naturkraft expeditions vary depending on the season, but you can always find the current expeditions at www.naturkraft.dk/en
If you want an extended expedition experience with more activities, these can be purchased on site throughout the 2025 season.
NEW! On an expedition with ‘Wild with Water’
To celebrate the opening of a new water universe at Easter 2025, Naturkraft is now also offering a brand new expedition entitled ‘Wild with Water". Families can explore below the water's surface, experience the Skjern River salmon from the inside and try their hand at the currents in the straightened and re-cut Skjern River.
Café and shop
In Naturkraft's main building, you'll find a well-stocked café on the first floor where you can take a break and enjoy some food and drink.
In the shop on the ground floor you can buy a fine selection of eco-friendly toys, products made from recycled materials, books and delicious delicacies.

Tuesday-Sunday and on April 14 & 24, as well as June 9, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
June 28 - August 31:
Daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
September:
Tuesday-Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
October:
Daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
November and December:
Thursday-Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Closed December 15-27.
Open December 28-30 (as well as January 2-4, 2026).
