Møgelskår
Møgelskår is the most typical ”groove” – ie valley in Nordby Bakker (hills). Domed hills and deep valleys make the landscape a unique sight. Their ”sheep paths” characterize the grassy slopes facing the sea, a geological phenomenon that manifests itself as small narrow ledges. Hiking in the area you will often meet cattle or Gute-sheep, a Gotland breed that is a part of municipality´s preservation program.
