Step into the heart of Danish culture and innovation from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Open daily from 11:00 to 22:00 (except August 1, from 11:00 to 16:00), the pavilion invites you to explore, play, and indulge in a celebration of Danish creativity.

Play with LEGO, try virtual reality with Heka VR, and enjoy complimentary Mikkeller beers and Sunlolly’s ice lollies. Enjoy 30 free concerts featuring some of Denmark's most captivating musicians and discover digital artworks celebrating Danish heritage.

Windows to Denmark 


With “Windows to Denmark,” we aim to let the world peer into Denmark and meet seven passionate Danes, each driven by their desire to actively address global issues affecting our quality of life. From the creation of a football team for young girls, fostering unity and camaraderie, to combating loneliness among the elderly worldwide through the volunteer initiative Cycling Without Age, and to the goal of improving the fashion industry's impact on our planet.

Engage in fun and educational activities with LEGO, SproutWorld, and VisitDenmark games. Experience the innovative Heka VR avatar therapy demo and explore the Nordisk conversation card game.

  • LEGO: Marvel at the stunning LEGO Flower Wall built by Adult Fans of LEGO in Paris and interact with a life-sized LEGO minifigure on a bike. Engage in building your own LEGO flower and participate in fun games with Braille bricks designed for the visually impaired.
  • SproutWorld and VisitDenmark Game: Participate in interactive games that challenge your knowledge and impact on climate change, promoting the idea that big changes start with small actions.
  • Nordisk Stories: Dive into the Nordisk storytelling game, 'Stories', designed for adventurers of all ages. This entertaining and social conversation game encourages engaging discussions and storytelling, perfect for campfires or cosy indoor settings.
  • Heka VR: Experience the Heka VR avatar therapy demo, an innovative psychotherapy tool for individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. This VR simulation empowers patients to confront and manage auditory hallucinations.
  • GN Hearing: With a vision to connect the world, GN Group has been a global leader for over 150 years. Visit GN Hearing for hearing tests and to learn about their innovations in hearing and audio solutions.

  • Mikkeller Beer: Savor 'Wonder,' a 0.0% ABV pale ale, from 18:00 to 20:00 daily. Developed in collaboration with VisitDenmark, this new brew is a tribute to sportsmanship and high performance, perfect for toasting to the Olympic spirit.
  • Sunlolly’s Ice Lollies: Cool off with refreshing ice lollies from 15:00 to 18:00 daily. Sunlolly offers a delightful way to beat the summer heat while enjoying a taste of Denmark.
  • Iskild Water: Taste Denmark's natural water, renowned for its purity. Iskild water is known for its unique mineral composition and fresh taste, sourced from a pristine aquifer in the Danish lake highlands, offering a refreshing and hydrating experience.

 

Culture Box 


Step into the Culture Box and experience digital artworks celebrating Danish culture and community:

  • Letter to a Cycad: Created in homage to Copenhagen's Palmhouse, this visual piece reflects on plant evolution and human impact. Presented by the Natural History Museum Denmark, University of Copenhagen.
  • Gymnopedie: A musical exploration that blends sound with architecture, recorded at the Brønshøj Water Tower in Copenhagen. Presented by Ying-Hsueh Chen.
  • Danish National Girls’ Choir: Celebrating the voices of young women through music and poetry, commemorating the legacy of N.F.S. Grundtvig and contemporary female composers.
  • Hans Christian Andersen: Enter the Fairytale: Immerse yourself in the world of Hans Christian Andersen's steadfast tin soldier, experiencing his enduring journey through digital storytelling. Presented at Hans Christian Andersen’s House in Odense.

 

Live Showcase Concerts

Experience the unifying power of music at the Denmark Pavilion. During the Paris Olympics, five exceptional Danish musicians will perform a series of 30 concerts. Each artist will present two daily concerts over three consecutive days, each lasting 20-30 minutes. Discover their unique styles and talents:

  • Dayyani (Performing on July 26 at 17:00 and 18:00, July 27 and 28 at 17:00 and 19:00): A Danish-Iranian pop sensation, Dayyani captivates with her profound lyrics and energetic performances.
  • JJ Paulo (Performing on July 29, 30, and 31 at 17:00 and 19:00): JJ Paulo's electrifying blend of pop and afrobeat promises vibrant and dynamic shows.
  • Brimheim (Performing on August 2, 3, and 4 at 17:00 and 19:00): Known for her powerful voice and striking presence, Brimheim excels in alternative pop and rock.
  • LYDMOR (Performing on August 5, 6, and 7 at 17:00 and 19:00): LYDMOR fuses electronic and pop music, delivering innovative and captivating live performances.
  • Teitur (Performing on August 8, 9, and 10 at 17:00 and 19:00): With evocative songwriting and emotive performances, Teitur is a celebrated highlight of the Nordic music scene.

The Denmark Pavilion  

During the Paris Olympics, visitors from around the world can enjoy a free visit to a small piece of Denmark on the Champs-Élysées. Encounter Danish ideas that contribute to creating a better life and a better world. VisitDenmark, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, leads this initiative, which is supported by Realdania, the Consul George Jorck and Wife Emma Jorck Foundation, and The Trade Council.

Commercial and business events  

The Denmark Pavilion also hosts exclusive trade events, including well-being conferences and guided tours for French tour operators.
